Let me start of by saying my chimney looks fantastic, they did a wonderful job. However, getting to that point was a nightmare. We have a cement based chimney that was chipping away. I called around to numerous chimney repair places and received estimates all over the place on price. When I called Kings Chimney, I was told they do not travel that far. I said no problem and moved along. Later that day I got a call from Juan, asking me to take pictures of the chimney and to send him my address, which i did. I called him back the next day and left a message. 2 weeks go bye and I was going to go with another company, when Juan called me out of the clear blue and said he would take the job and take $100 dollars off my lowest estimate. Of course I said Yes, he said he wouldn’t be able to get there next week though(5/27), because of his schedule, no problem I responded. Weeks turn into months, and there was 0 communication. Every time I called, I left a message(never returned) or he seemed like he had forgot and promised he’d be out soon and I was on schedule. I was told on 7/13(6 weeks later) by Katrina he would definitely be there on 7/14. Then on 7/14 after taking a day off of work, was told he couldn’t get till 7/15. On 7/15 I was called at 7:20 AM by Juan telling me his guy called out sick, assuming this meant he couldn’t come again, I began my day. Then at 9:45am he shows up in my driveway??? I go out to greet him and the first thing he says is “this chimney is really big.” He asked to increase the price cause he didn’t realize how big it was. He then told me he could only do a white chimney(our house is brown). After I basically told him to leave, he agreed to do a darker color and for the original estimate. He wanted all cash which was slightly inconvenience but a non issue really. Again, the chimney looks awesome, way better then I thought it would when they started. So I am giving three stars just because of the pain to get them here and working. Also they broke my hose nozzle and didn’t tell me, not a big deal but again just an inconvenience. I WOULD recommend them if you had a non-urgent chimney repair, do not mind haggling and have a flexible work schedule.

Juan came out on short notice in time for Christmas. He was very thorough, honest, courteous, and professional. He did a great job repair gaps in the chimney and installing the new damper. He went above and beyond. Highly recommended!
